April 2009


The second long-line mould has been installed by the German company Leonhard Moll Betonwerke and full scale production of B-93 sleepers has started in the new plant (May 2009)

March 2009


The new machine to transport and feed concrete to the new turnour plant has been delivered to the plant site.The machine was manufactured by the italian company WEGH GROUP. The concrete for the new plant will be prepared in the existing batch plant.

December 2008


The construction of the new turnout sleeper plant has started. This plant will be built next to the existing one, and will be equipped with two double long line moulds, each with a length of 43.5 m. With this plant, the compnay will be able to produce 160 m of turnout sleepers per day. The plant is expected to operate within April 2009.

At the moment (24 Mar. 2009), the factory building is being constructed together with the electrical wiring and lighting.

October 25, 2008


The first of the 100.000 B-70 sleepers to be delivered to ERGOSE arrived in Mellisi, Corinth. These will be used for the construction of the new line from Kiato to Derveni.The sleepers are placed in a specially compacted field near the railway line that is now under construction. The delivery is expected to finish within 2009.
